At Charlotte -2008: Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Year and first-team all-league selection, he led the A-10 and set personal a best with 19 home runs. Also drove in a career-high 70 RBI in his senior season. He was one of two Niners on the All-Raleigh Regional team this season. With three hits in his final game of his career, he finished with 264 for his career, the fifth-most career total in team history. His 65 doubles and 208 RBI rank third and 35 home runs are fifth for a Charlotte career. Taylor's last home game was a memorable one, as he hit a walkoff home run in the bottom of the tenth in Charlotte's 2-1 win over Rhode Island to clinch the conference championship.

Belted a pair of home runs and drove in three runs to eliminate N.C. State from the Columbia, S.C. regional in Charlotte's 12-10 win on 6/3... 2006: Named Second-Team All-Atlantic 10, one of a record nine Niners named All-Conference... Saw dramatic increases in batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage... Was one of three hitters with a team-leading 16 doubles... Began the season with a 17-game hitting streak, putting his batting average at .429 (27-for-63) and combined with hits in final two games of 2005, had a 19-game hitting streak alive until Mar. 3, hitting .414 over that span...
