At Charlotte -2008: Two-way player that played 1B and pitched in the fall... Appeared in seven games as a pitcher, all starts, and played one inning at first base on Feb. 26... Six of seven starts were at home... Team was 4-3 in games he started... Made first career start on Feb. 24 at home against Manhattan, lasting 4.1 innings, allowing seven hits and four runs, all earned, striking out two and walking one, also making a pair of defensive putouts... Picked up first career win at home by pitching five shutout innings in 7-1 victory over North Carolina A&T... Allowed just one hit, striking out six in that first collegiate win...
