At Charlotte - 2008: Factored in more wins, losses or saves than any player for Charlotte... Recorded back-to-back six-win seasons out of the bullpen... Tied for 12th in A-10 with three saves... Team was 15-6 in games in which he appeared... Lasted an inning or more in all but one of his 21 appearances... Did not allow a hit in seven of 21 overall appearances and did not allow a run in 15 of 21 overall appearances... Started the season by not allowing a hit in his first three appearances (4.2 innings) and a run in his first four appearances (5.2 innings)... Put together a streak of six consecutive games without allowing a run to end the regular season, including the conference tournament (team-best 17.2 innings pitched scoreless streak), lowering his ERA from 5.40 to 2.60 over that span... Struck out at least one batter in 18 of 21 appearances... Came in with runners on and gave up the tying runs in the eighth at home to USC Upstate on April 23, but stayed in for his first career collegiate at-bat and got a hit and game-winning RBI in the bottom half of the inning... He finished the game to get his third win of the season... Earned wins in extra innings in consecutive weekends, lasting career-long 4.1-inning outings versus Rhode Island in a 2-1 win in 10 innings on May 17 to clinch the conference championship and 4-3 in 11 innings to win the Tournament Championship on May 24 against Xavier in Camden, N.J.... 2007: Atlantic 10 All-Freshman Team... Made second-most appearances for anyone on the pitching staff... Put together a 6-1 record and recorded four saves in first year of collegiate baseball... Tossed only a third of an inning of relief (came in with a pair of inherited runners in the ninth inning and recorded a groundout) in earning his first collegiate win as Charlotte scored two in the bottom of the ninth in a 7-6 victory at home against College of Charleston on 3/17... The next day in Charleston, finished the final 3.1 innings, allowing an unearned run in the tenth as Charlotte came back to win in extra innings at College of Charleston 7-6... Earned first career save after tossing an inning and inducing a bases-loaded double play in Charlotte's 12-10 win at Saint Louis on 3/4... Got a win in four straight appearances from 4/28 to 5/12, including three conference wins... Earned first career NCAA postseason save, tossing four innings of relief and striking out a career-high six batters in Charlotte's 12-10 elimination-game win over N.C. State on 6/3... Did not allow a run in seven consecutive games, a stretch of 15.1 innings from 4/28-5/25... Team was 17-3 in games in which he appeared... Dean's List (Spring and Fall), Chancellor's List (Fall, '06).
