The 49ers will host the Charlotte Relay this Saturday, September 4 at McAlpine Park

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte 49ers men's and women's cross country teams will host their first meet of the season with the Charlotte Relay, Saturday, September 4 at McAlpine Park. The meet will begin with high school boys 2 x 3K at 7:30 am. The high school girls 2 x 3K will follow that race at 8:00 am. Then, the Charlotte 49ers men's team will compete in the 2 x 5K at 8:40 am. The Charlotte 49ers women's team will follow them with a 2 x 3K at 9:20 am. Directions to McAlpine Park coming from the North. Take I-77 South, At exit 11 take ramp and go South on State Highway 16 (Brookshire Freeway), Then go south east on I-277 (State Highway 16), Take Ram and go South East on US Highway 74, Drive 6.9 miles then take right onto Village Lake Drive. Then you will take a left onto Monroe Road - You will go about 1/2 miles and the park will be on the left.
