Cross Country 2008: Was the second Charlotte finisher to cross the line at the Bojangles Invitational when he finished in fourth place overall...Finished 29th at the A-10 Championships...Recorded his best time of the year with a 25:01 finish at the Paul Short Run. Outdoor 2008: Posted a season fastest time of 6:09.55 at the Davidson Invitational in the 2000m Steeplechase...Crossed the line with a mark of 15:26.63 in the 5000m run at the Duke Invitational which was the fourth fastest time on the team. Indoor 2008: Finished 13th with a time of 2:32.74 in the 1000m run at the Penn State National Open in January which was the second fastest time on the team during the indoor season. Cross Country 2007: Finished fourth at the Gamecock Invitational, Eye Opener Invitational and Charlotte Invitational, with a PR time of 26:10 being run at the Eye Opener Invitational.Outdoor 2007: Posted a 9:28.09 3000 steeplechase performance at the Atlantic 10 Championships, ranking him second on the team for the season...Turned in a 2:00.78 800m at Wake Forest. Cross Country 2006: Finished seventh at the 5k at Winthrop with a time of 26:20.
Prep: Rickard joins fellow HS teammate Chase Williams after earning All-America notice in the 4x mile and 4x 800 at the 2006 Nike Indoor National Meet. He was also a scoring member of the 2004 NC 4A Cross Country Championship team at Pinecrest HS. Rickard led Pinecrest in the 2005 Cross Country Championships with a ninth place finish and a time of 16:18...Coached by Ed Kelly
