Indoor 2008: Ran the second fastest 49er time of the season in the 800m run with a time of 1:57.30 at the Carolina Invitational...Anchored the record setting 4x800m team. Cross Country 2007: Placed eighth at the Charlotte Invitational...Ran a season best 26:59 at the Eye Opener. Outdoor 2007: Posted a USATF Junior Championships Qualifying time with a 1:52.94 800m performance at the Oregon Invitational, which ranked him third on the team for the season...Ran a 4:01.93 1500m at the 49er Classic...Member of the 4x800m relay team that set a facility record, conference record and program record with a 7:28.97 showing at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships. Indoor 2007: 800m @ Notre Dame LC 1:53.98, Distance Medley Relay @ Clemson Invite 10:15.64, 4x800m @ A-10 with school-record time of 7:50.63... Cross Country 2006: Finished third in the 3k at the Charlotte Relay with a time of 15:43. Prep: Earned All-American honors in the 800-meters when he finished sixth at the Nike Indoor National Meet with a time of 1:56.73. Earlier in 2006, Kauffman became the 800-meter Pennsylvania State Champion, with a 1:55.34. He also placed 4th in the 800m at the PIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships and ran a personal-best of 1:51.24 at the Golden West Invitational in California.
