Cross Country 2008: Ran a season best time of 25:43 to finish 48th at the A-10 Championships...Competed in six of the eight races that Charlotte raced in, including an appearance at the Southeast Regional Championships. Outdoor 2008: Redshirted. Indoor 2008: Ran the second fastest team time of the season in the 5000m run at the Penn State National Open (15:50.95)...His time of 8:47.50 at the Carolina Invitational was fifth fastest time on the team. Cross Country 2007: Had his best finish of the season at the Gamecock Invitational as he crossed the line in sixth place...Ran a season best time of 26:58 at the Eye Opener. Outdoor 2007: Finished the 5000m in 15:50.12 at the 49er Classic...Cross Country 2006: Finished ninth in the 3k at the Charlotte Relay with a time of 15:51. Prep: Placed fifth at N.C. 2A State Cross Country Championships in 2005. He was an All-State, All-Region and All-Conference performer in the 2005 cross country season. His best time in the 3K is 8:52. Brotherton won the West Henderson Cross Country meet in the fall, and placed in the top five at the Great American Cross Country Invitational Race.
