Niners to Play Four Spring Dates in 2006

Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers volleyball team will play four dates this spring, including a pair of home tournaments at Charlotte's ATAC Practice Gym.
The 49ers are coming off their first season as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference, when they finished fourth in the league regular season standings and advanced to the A-10 Championships.
The team posted 17 wins this fall against a tough schedule. Alma Arroyo, a first team all-league selection, returns for the Niners, along with second team setter Eden Ramos, all-freshman libero Carly Romberg, and seniors Lynae Mulder and Jessica Oldenburg.

March 18 at Charlotte's ATAC Practice Gym - Tournament including Furman, The Citadel, West Virginia State and Wingate
March 25 at Duke - Tournament including Appalachian, North Carolina and Duke
April 1 at Charlotte's ATAC Practice Gym - Tournament including North Carolina, Wingate, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Miami (OH), and ETSU
April 8 at High Point
