WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Three players hit double figures and Holly Kreyling posted a double-double to lead the Charlotte 49ers volleyball team to a 3-1 win at William & Mary Sunday afternoon. The 49ers squandered a lead in game one, but came back to win the next three games to take the match.

"It was good to see us bounce back after our match Friday night," head coach Lisa Marston said. "After the first game, we made some adjustments and we really responded as a team. Holly was golden for us. Everything she touched went down."

Kreyling finished the match with a .435 hitting percentage, knocking down 13 kills and coming up with 10 digs. Courtney Burg led Charlotte (9-7) with 16 kills and just missed her own double-double with nine digs. Abbey Szlanfucht posted 15 kills and nine digs for the 49ers cause. William & Mary (3-10) was led by Kristin Gunderson with 14 kills.

The 49ers came out strong in the first game, taking an early lead. The Tribe rallied, however, coming back to win 32-30 and take a 1-0 lead in the match. After the loss, Charlotte came to life and took the next three games 30-13, 30-23 and 30-19.

Charlotte will return to action next weekend, when they begin conference play at UAB and South Florida.
