Woods Part of the United States' Silver Medal 4x100m Relay Team

Woods ran the first leg of the United States' 4x100 meter relay team

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Charlotte sprinter Shareese Woods and the rest of the women's 4x100m relay team earned a silver medal at the Pan American Games, Saturday afternoon.

The United States team finished second to Jamaica with a time of 43.62. Woods ran the first leg for the United States. Her teammates are Michelle Lewis, Alexis Weatherspoon and Mikele Barber.

In the Friday evening session, Woods finished seventh individually in the women's 200m dash finals, with a time of 23.34 seconds.
