Woods was named Atlantic 10 Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer for her efforts at the 2006 A-10 Indoor Track Championships at Rhode Island last Saturday.

The junior sprinter was the A-10's champion in both the 200- and 400-meter dashes, and anchored Charlotte's winning 4x400-meter relay team. She was the highest scoring individual women's athlete with 22.5 points.

Woods's 400-meter time of 55.11 was an Atlantic 10 Indoor Track Championship Meet record.

This is the second year in a row that Charlotte has produced their conference's Female Athlete of the Meet, as Woods joins 2005 Conference USA winner Cassie Ficken.
