Charlotte, N.C. - After posting strong performances at the Penn State National Open over the weekend, freshmen Korel Mack (Winston-Salem, N.C./Reynolds HS) and Ebonie Cunningham (Raleigh, N.C./Southeast Raleigh HS) were named Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field Rookies of the Week, while junior Aja Jackson (Charlotte, N.C./E.E. Mack, who shares the weekly award with Trevon Rainford from La Salle, posted a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles, clocking in at 8.08. His time moved him into second all-time for Charlotte and tied for first in the conference. The nod marks his second of the season.

She also clocked a 24.65 in the 200m dash and ran the second leg on the A-10 leading 4x400m relay, which clocked in at 3:44.86, good for second all-time at Charlotte.
Jackson posted a 2:10.50 in the 800m, winning the event just less than a second from her school record in the event. She also ran the second leg of the A-10-leading 4x400m relay team with a time of 3:44.86, which ranks second all-time in program history.
