ATHENS, Ga. - The Charlotte 49ers track and field teams continued their season at Georgia's Bulldog Limited on Saturday. The men posted a pair of NCAA provisional qualifying marks, while the women set school records in two events.

On the men's side, Will Montgomery recorded his first qualifying mark of the year in the long jump, winning the event with a 25'3.5" mark. A two-time All-American, Montgomery's distance ranks tied for 13th in the nation. He was joined by Matt Rausch, who logged his second qualifying mark in as many days in the hammer. After setting a new school record the day before at Auburn, Rausch threw for 204'5" to finish second. It was his fourth qualifying mark of the season.

For the women, Michelle Dixon lowered her school record in the 100-meter dash. She placed third with a time of 11.80, four-hundredths of a second under the previous mark she set last weekend. Dixon also competed on the 4x100-meter relay team, which set a school record with a time of 46.00 and finished fourth. She teamed with Bernadette Washington, Monica Turner and Adrienne Lunsford. Rolanda Gabriel unofficially broke the school record in the triple jump as well. She won the event with a wind-aided distance of 41'5.25".
