For the first time, the Charlotte 49ers will host Bark at the Park at Robert and Mariam Hayes Stadium on April 21 when the 49ers baseball team takes on Saint Joseph's at 2pm. Dog owners will have the opportunity to bring their furry friend to the game and hang out with other dog lovers on the grassy hillside on the first base side of the stadium, as well as participate in contests and a post-game dogs run the bases.
Fans bringing their dog to the game must complete the registration information below. Please review policy #43 - specifically section II.B. - regarding domestic animals on campus. By registering your animal you are noting that you have reviewed and agree to abide by this policy (http://legal.uncc.edu/policies/ps-43.html). Specific notes include:
dogs must be on a leash not to exceed six feet in length; dogs must be licensed and fully inoculated; fecal matter must be removed immediately and disposed of properly (bags and garbage cans will be available); dogs must be appropriately behaved.
Tickets for the game are $5 for the general public and UNC Charlotte student admission is free with a valid student ID. To purchase tickets in advance contact the 49ers Athletic Ticket Office at 704.687.4949.
