Junior pitcher Emily Jeffery had an incredible week in the circle for the 49ers. She allowed only one run in 24-plus innings of work and had a perfect 4-0 record, including A-10 wins over George Washington and Fordham. She posted a stellar weekly ERA of just 0.29 and allowed only nine hits over five games of action, striking out 31 batters. She has now tossed 17 and a third innings of consecutive scoreless softball. Jeffery is 11-3 this season with a 1.63 ERA.

Pillay won all three of her singles matches to remain perfect with a 13-0 singles record this spring. Pillay was the 49ers top single in wins over Appalachian State and East Carolina and returned to her second-single spot in Charlotte's 4-3 loss to East Tennessee State. She won each of her individual matches and helped Charlotte extend its home winning streak to seven matches, this spring.
