Stark won both the 55- and 200-meter dashes at the Appalachian Indoor Invitational on Sunday, and was the top collegiate finisher (second overall) in the triple jump. Stark served notice that she will be one of the top sprinters in the Atlantic 10, as her winning 55-meter time of 6.99 was just 0.02 seconds off the school record she set last year. For comparison, no A-10 female athlete broke the 7-second barrier last season.

Tempess ran 25.15 to win the 200, again posting a time that was not matched in the league last indoor season. And she leapt 11.70 meters (38 feet, 4.75 inches) to place second in the triple jump, posting the top collegiate distance. That distance would have put her third in the A-10 last season.
