Charlotte, N.C. - As of the close of the business, Thursday, Oct. 30, the 49ers had received reservations for 3755 Forty-Niner Seat Licenses (FSL's). That translates to a projected $3,755,000 worth of support for 49ers football since Chancellor Dr. Phil Dubois' recommendation to add football was made on Thursday, Sept. 18. At this time, no money has been accepted by the 49ers ticket office. The 49ers will await the UNC Charlotte Board of Trustees' final approval in November before beginning the actual sale of FSL's and football tickets.

The Chancellor's recommendation called for the sale of 5000 FSL's within six months of the Board of Trustees' approval. With 3755 reservations, the 49ers have passed 75% of that goal in less than two months of his announcement.

Seventy percent of the account holders are not currently members of the 49er Club and 70% of the account holders are alumni.
