Charlotte hosts the Stroll for Epilepsy on Oct. 4 |

Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers Athletic Department will participate in its third annual Fall Stroll for Epilepsy, a 5K walk to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation of North Carolina, on Saturday, October 4 at 9 a.m.
The walk, which will take place at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center, will benefit the reported two million Americans who suffer from Epilepsy. Approximately 75,000 people in North Carolina suffer from the disease.

The 49ers Athletic Department participates in many charitable and philanthropic events each year, including blood drives, Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots and others. One of the philosophies of the department from staff and athletes includes community giving and involvement.
