The 49ers men's soccer team will host the four-team Charlotte/Nike Invitational at Transamerica Field this weekend, September 19-21. The 49ers face Winthrop in their first game of the Classic, Friday, September 19. The Winthrop game will be the 49ers regular-season home opener. Since the 2000 season, the 49ers are a undefeated at 7-0-1 in home openers.
