With a 5-for-5 NCAA Baseball Regional, senior Brad McElroy finished his season with a .381 batting average and his career as the Charlotte career leader in batting average. He entered the postseason with a .386 batting average, but passed the all-time leader, Barry Shifflett, on the last day with two hits and four walks.
