Currie led the 49ers at the NCAA Track and Field Regionals with a pair of performances that will carry her to the NCAA Championships. Currie was a part of the NCAA qualifying 4x100 relay team that placed third at the Regional with a time of 44.55 and ran an automatic championship qualifying time of 11.72 in the 100 meter dash. Currie, the 2008 Atlantic 10 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Performer of the Year, was a part of last yea's 4x100 relay team that placed 13th at Nationals. The 4x100 relay team is made up of Currie, Courtney Patterson, Lajarsha Moses and Ebonie Cunningham.
