Lyerly earned Most Outstanding Player of the 2008 Atlantic 10 Tournament after recording eight RBI in Charlotte's three-game sweep through the field to its second consecutive Championship. Lyerly helped the Niners to extend their streak to six in a row at the A-10 Championships.
