Lyerly broke one school record and tied three others by belting out six hits in a 49ers victory at Massachusetts, Saturday. With three home runs, two doubles and a triple, Lyerly broke the school single-game record for total bases (19) while tying the single-game records for hits (6) and home runs (3). Friday night he had hits in his final two at bats, giving him eight consecutive hits over the two games, matching another school record. He went 9-for-14 (.642) as Charlotte won the weekend series against the Minutemen with wins in 2-of-3 games. The wins kept Charlotte in a tie for first-place in the A-10. Lyerly leads the team with a .748 slugging percentage.
