- 49er Club Bus Trip to Appalachian State - Wednesday, November 19 - For the Charlotte 49ers vs. Appalachian State Mountaineers men's basketball game. Cost is $45 per person and includes game ticket and bus transportation. 49er Club members who wish to participate must register in advance by calling the Athletic Foundation at (704) 687-4950. Buses will depart campus at 2:45pm and will return following the game.
- 2009 A-10 Men's Basketball Tournament - March 12-15 in Atlantic City: Registration deadline is January 25!
- 32nd Annual 49er Club Golf Outing Sponsored by Dr. Jim Fleischli, OrthoCarolina - April 20, 2009 (Pine Island Country Club): Shotgun start at 11am; $2,500 for a team of four including hole sponsorship.
- 26th Annual Great Gold Rush Auction Sponsored by Chartwells - A Division of Compass Group - June 6, 2009; Halton Arena: $1,000 for a table of 10 or $100 per person; silent auction begins at 5:30pm and is followed by a live auction.

The Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation provides scholarship assistance to over 225 male and female student-athletes participating in 16 varsity sports. Established in 1969, the organization has developed into a vitally important support group for the Athletic Department, pursuing excellence, integrity and pride in the University's athletic program.
The 49er Club, the Foundation's official booster organization, offers membership to both individuals and businesses. Your support not only provides educational and athletic opportunities to worthy young people, but provides you valuable benefits as well.
