Charlotte 49ers head football coach Brad Lambert, in conjunction with the Belk Bowl and NCAA Football's youth initiative will host a free youth football clinic, Saturday, July 23 on UNC Charlotte's campus.
The NCAA Youth Football Clinic will also feature other area high school and college coaches.
Registration will open at 8:00 a.m. with the clinic set to begin at 9:15 a.m. at the UNC Charlotte Northeast Recreational Fields Complex at 1001 John Kirk Drive.
The clinic is open to the first 150 registered participants ages 5-14.

The clinic is part of NCAA Football's mission to promote the game. Youth football clinics teach fundamentals of football and foster a positive message of sportsmanship and good character.
The Charlotte 49ers will have their inaugural football season in 2013. In the meantime, head coach Brad Lambert has be assembling his staff and recruiting in order to put together the 49ers first class in the spring of 2012.
