Charlotte won its season-opener for the 2nd straight season.

Charlotte has won its last two road games, dating back to the 2013 season finale at Morehead State.

In two years, Charlotte is 5-0 in games that it has led at the half.

Three of Charlotte’s 4 TDs came on drives of 1:30 or less.  The 49ers had 18 such drives last year – with highs of 5 at Morehead State and three vs. Gardner-Webb.  Charlotte had two vs. Campbell, last year.
