49ers Welcome Media to Rose Football Center

Charlotte 49ers head football coach Brad Lambert gave the Charlotte media a tour of the 46,150-square foot Judy Rose Football Center, Aug. 10, 2012, including coaches offices, the academic wing and tiered classroom, the strength training suite, the equipment and locker rooms, training room and hospitality deck.

The 49ers will begin moving in to Rose Football Center, the new home of 49ers football, August 13, as they accept delivery of furniture and additional equipment.  Charlotte 49ers student-athletes will report to campus Aug. 16 with school beginning Aug. 20.  The 49ers plan to hold their first workout sessions Aug. 27.

The 49ers 15,300-seat stadium is scheduled for completion in September.

Charlotte will hold practices throughout the fall, 2012 in preparation for its inaugural football sesaon in 2013.
