Charlotte's College Cup Finalist men's soccer team has announced their eight-game spring exhibition schedule.
Charlotte welcomes back 13 letterwinners and eight starters off a 2011 team that won 16 games and reached the National Championship game.
The 49ers will begin with three straight home games, hosting England's Pass 4 on March 12th at 3:30 pm. Then, the 49ers will face the local professional team, United Soccer League's Charlotte Eagles on March 17th at 6 pm. Then, the 49ers play Belmont Abbey on March 24th at 7 pm.
One doubleheader on the road divides the season, as the 49ers take on East Tennessee State (1:45 pm) and College of Charleston (6:00 pm) in Rock Hill, South Carolina on March 31st.
The 49ers will end their spring season with a three game home stand in April, with the annual Alumni Game on the 14th at 2 pm, Davidson on the 17th at 7 pm, and the finale against Appalachian State on the 21st at 7 pm.
Some games (March 12, March 17 and April 21) will be played at the 49ers' practice field which is located next to the Wachovia Fieldhouse. The other home games will be played at Transamerica Field.
