IRVING, Texas - Charlotte becomes the first program to sweep Conference USA Cross Country Athletes of the Week honors this season as Zach Greth and Tiffany Lang led the 49ers with personal best performances at the Royals Challenge. Greth finished the 8K race in 25:18, while Lang clocked a time of 18:12 in the 5K meet last weekend.

Greth paced the 49ers with an 8K personal best time of 25:18 to finish fifth at the Royals Challenge inside the local McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte. Greth finished nine seconds off the lead and against fourth-ranked Duke in the Southeast Region. This is the second time this year that Greth has picked up a top five finish. He also earns his first career C-USA Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor.
