The Phillips Softball Diamond continues to evolve over the years. The home of the 49ers softball program. The facility added lights in 2006 which enables the 49ers to play night games. A digital scoreboard with a message board was added to the facility before the start of the 2008 season. The facility also went under a renovation in 2009 to add bleachers and chair-back seats to the field. The renovation increased seating capacity to 300 prior to the start of the 2010 season. Fans can also sit at the picnic tables along the left field line.

The facility has hosted the Atlantic 10 Softball Championship and regularly hosts high school softball competitions.

Located adjacent to the Softball Diamond, the Wells Fargo Fieldhouse contains locker rooms for softball, baseball, mens soccer and womens soccer. Just steps away from the field of competition. an auxiliary athletic training room is housed within, as well as a locker room used by officials for softball and baseball games. The Fieldhouse includes a hospitality room with floor to ceiling windows on two-sides. The hospitality room is used for various meetings and receptions in concert with events in the Phillips Athletic Complex.
