CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte 49ers Department of Athletics has joined with Digital Media partner NeuLion, Inc. to create the first official Charlotte 49ers application (app) for both the iPhone and Android phones.

On the free app 49ers fans can get the latest Charlotte 49ers news, scores, schedules, rosters, photos, and Live Stats in a simple, intenewsUractive interface on the iPhone and Android phones.

The premium version of the Android ($2.99) and iPhone ($4.99) are also available and includes everything in the free version but also grants access to exclusive on-demand video, including press conferences, player and coach interviews, and much more.

In addition to the iPhone and Android apps, also available to all fans is a mobile device enabled version of Charlotte49ers.com on their phone, which was released earlier this year. The mobile website deliveres a condensed version of the official athletic site to provide latest news and quick updates to handheld devices.
