At Charlotte - 2013: NCBWA Freshman All-American Second Team... Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team... A-10 Rookie of the Week, 3/25.  Missed two weeks at end of regular season, but still finished with 40 RBI, tied for third on the team and tied for eighth in Atlantic 10 Conference, the only freshman in the league's Top 10 in RBI... Tied for team lead with four home runs, tied for 16th in A-10... Niners won all four games in which he homered... Four sacrifice flies were team-high total, tied for 11th in the A-10... His 17 two-out RBI were third-most on the team... Posted team-high 10 at bats with bases loaded... Three of his four season sac flies came with bases loaded and his 10 bases-loaded RBI were second-most on team...  Played 27 games at catcher, another 21 as the designated hitter and parts of seven at first base... Dean's List (fall).

Prep - Earned three varsity letters and was a part of Ardrey Kell's first state championship, in 2009.

Personal - Parents are Lori and Larry Lang... Has two sisters, Kalie and Addie... Father played college baseball, and sister Kalie finished her career in 2013 on the 49ers softball team... Plans to major in criminal justice... Birthday is May 15.
