Charlotte, NC - Women's basketball's seniors Katie Meador and Epiphany Woodson graduated last May. These two seniors played an integral role in helping the 49ers reach postseason play for the tenth consecutive year this past season.

Last May, Meador graduated after only three years at Charlotte with a degree in Sociology. She spent this past year working on a post baccalaureate degree. During her four-year career at Charlotte, she played on two of the 49ers most successful teams in the 2009 Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship team and the 2011 WNIT Final Four team. As a senior, she recorded career-high averages in points and rebounds.

Woodson, who also graduated last May with a degree in Sociology, spent this past year working on a Master's degree in Liberal Studies. This past season, Woodson was named Atlantic 10 Sixth Player of the Year. She also voted third-team All-Atlantic 10 as well as being named to the A-10 All-Academic team. She finished the season second on the team and 13th  in the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 12.3 points per game. Last year, she scored her 1,000th  career point against St. Bonaventure, January 21. She finished her career with 1,132 career points. This past season, she recorded 20 double-figure scoring games including scoring a career-high 32 points off the bench at Saint Louis, February 22.
