Elizabeth returned to her alma mater as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for 49ers Cross Country and Track & Field in 2012. She returned to campus after a one-year stint providing medical coverage for DIvision II Belmont Abbey. Prior to that, she completed a 10-month Sports Medicine Fellowship at Furman University where she was the Assistant Athletic Trainer for football and the primary Athletic Trainer for baseball. After obtaining her Master's of Science in Exercise Science from Appalachian State in 2009 while serving as an intern in the Sports Medicine Department, she was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Watauga High School.
Elizabeth graduated in 2008 with a BS in Athletic Training from Charlotte in 2008. In her spare time, she likes to work out and travel. She is BOC certified and licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina, and is also an active member of the National Athletic Training Association.
The former Elizabeth Medlin was recenlty married to her husband Brian, and the couple currently resides in Matthews.
