The Charlotte 49ers (12-5, Conference USA: 3-1) face Louisiana Tech (15-4, C-USA: 3-1) on the road, Thursday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m. The game features two teams that are currently in a five-way tie for second place in Conference USA.

Ben Cherry is second in Conference USA in three-point field goal percentage (49.2%). Clayton leads Conference USA in field goal percentage (63.4%). Marcus Bryan has given the 49ers solid production off the bench this season so far. In the 49ers last road trip, Bryan grabbed a career-high seven rebounds off the bench at UTEP.
Louisiana Tech enters the game seven wins in their last eight games. Louisiana Tech lost to Southern Miss, 80-71, on the road in their last game last Sunday.
