Menís Hoops Will Appear On National TV Nine Times

The Charlotte 49ers men’s basketball team will have nine regular-season games televised nationally.

All three games that the 49ers play in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off will be broadcast on either ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3. Charlotte begins play in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off against Kansas State, November 21 at 10:30 am. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Then, the 49ers game on December 29th in Halton Arena against ACC foe Georgia Tech will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1. The game will tip at 7 pm.

Charlotte’s Conference USA opener on the road at UTEP, Thursday, January 9th will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network. The game will tip at 9 pm.

Charlotte’s road game at Southern Miss has been moved to Sunday, February 9th due to television. The game will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network and will tip at 2 pm. Due to changing the date of the Southern Miss game, Charlotte’s game in New Orleans against Tulane has been moved to Friday, February 7.

Charlotte’s game in Halton Arena against UAB on Saturday, February 22 will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1. The game will tip at 3:30 pm.

Charlotte’s road game at East Carolina on Thursday, February 27 will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1. The game will tip at 7 pm. Finally, the 49ers regular-season finale on the road at Marshall, Thursday, March 6th, will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network. The game will tip at 7 pm.

The 49ers welcome back four starters and eight letterwinners off a 2012-13 team that went 21-12 and earned a post-season berth in the NIT.  Charlotte also welcomes seven talented newcomers this year’s roster.
