Charlotte 49ers senior center Chris Braswell is among 14 collegiate players currently participating in this summer's Amar'e Stoudemire Skills Academy in Chicago, Ill.

The three-day camp runs from June 21-23 and includes hands-on lessons in training and development.  The camp includes five two-hour workout sessions over the course of the three days.

Braswell, an all-Atlantic 10 choice for the 49ers as a juniro last year, led Charlotte with a 15.8 scoring average and 7.6 rebounding average.  He shot .511 from the field and was one of just three players in the A-10 that ranked in the league's top 10 in scoring and rebounding.  He posted seven double-doubles and ranks 6th all-time with 22 career double-doubles.  He scored 20 or more points seven times, including five times in A-10 road games.  He scored his 1000th collegiate point, last year.

The posted roster of college participants includes Murray State's Ed Daniels, Miami's Reggie Johnson, Duke's Ryan Kelly and Mason Plumlee and NC State's CJ Leslie among others.

The 2012 NIKE Positional Skills Academies, hosted by Amar'e Stoudemire, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Deron Williams, consist of three days full of intense skill-instruction alongside peers of the same position. Since 2007, Nike Basketball has selected the top high school and college players for the skills academies, hosted and instructed by many of the NBA's most talented players.
