The Charlotte 49ers (13-16; 5-11, A-10), seeded 12th, travel to #5-seed Saint Joseph's for the Atlantic 10 Championship First Round Game, Tuesday. The winner will advance to the A-10 Quarterfinals against #4-seed St. Bonaventure, 2:30 Friday in Atlantic City.
A-10 Tourney: Charlotte has a 2-5 record in the Atlantic 10 Tournament, including a 2009 first round 72-62 loss as a #12 seed to #5-seed Saint Joseph's. Charlotte has reached the quarterfinals of the A-10 Tournament twice (2006, 2008) and the semifinals once (2008).

This season, he scored his 1000th career-point, notched seven double-doubles to move into 6th-place all-time (22 career) and scored in double-digits in 23 games.
His 16.9 scoring average in league play is the most by a 49er since Lamont Mack averaged 17.6 points against the A-10 in 2008-09.
