The Charlotte 49ers (13-15; 5-10, A-10) travel to Xavier for the final game of the regular season. Charlotte has clinched a spot in the Atlantic 10 Tournament and will be playing a road game in the A-10 first round, Mar. 6.  Charlotte is tied for 11th in the A-10 standings. With a win at Xavier, the 49ers will earn the 11th seed.  With a loss, the 49ers will be seeded 12th.  The 49ers have more wins (13), more A-10 wins (5) and more road wins (6) than last year.  Charlotte lost 74-70 to Xavier, earlier this season.

The 49ers will be seeded 11th with a win at Xavier (Charlotte wins a possible tiebreaker with George Washington at 6-10 on the strength of wins over Xavier and Saint Joseph's). The 49ers will be seeded 12th with a loss at Xavier (Charlotte loses a possible tiebreaker with GW at 5-11 because Charlotte would be 0-2 vs. Xavier; GW is 0-1). As 12th seed the 49ers would play at #5 seed Saint Joseph's.  As the 11th seed, the 49ers could play at La Salle, UMass, Dayton, Saint Joseph's or Xavier.

BRAZ ATTACK: Junior Chris Braswell is one of three A-10 players to rank in the top 15 in scoring (11th, 15.1) and rebounding (6th, 7.6).  In A-10 games, he's one of three to rank in the top 10 of both (7th, 16.1 ppg; 10th, 7.4 rpg).  The other two are St. Bonaventure's Andrew Nicholson and Fordham's Chris Gaston.  Braswell also shoots .498 from the field and .771 from the line.

He scored his 1000th career-point, notched seven double-doubles to move into 6th-place all-time (22 career) and scored in double-digits in 22 games, this year.
