The first-team setter and libero both hail from High Point. Redshirt-sophomore Maddie Simpson dished out 9.88 assists per set and posted 10 double-doubles to earn a spot on the first team. Freshman Annemarie Chin was picked as the top libero after coming up with 3.68 digs per set in her rookie campaign. She was named second-team All-Big South and to the All-Freshmen team.

The NCCSIA All-State second team is comprised of Elon’s Kris Harris and Ana Nicksic, Charlotte’s Bianca Rouse, High Point’s Kristin Heldt, Gardner-Webb’s Tyler Cockrell, East Carolina’s Nicole Willis and Appalachian State’s Courtney Rhein.

Nominees were submitted by North Carolina sports information professionals and voted on by the NCCSIA members.
