Jimmy Duba arrived as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in the fall of 2013 at Charlotte. Specifically, he serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the men's basketball and golf programs.

Duba served as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance at DePaul University in Chicago, for three years prior to his arrival with the 49ers. He was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the women’s basketball, softball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track and field, and men‘s tennis programs.

From 2008 to 2010, Duba was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA. During his time with the Kings, He also served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Sacramento Monarchs of the WNBA for both the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

From 2006 to 2008, Duba completed his Master's degree in Kinesiology at the University of Connecticut. During this time, he was a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, and was responsible for the baseball and women’s volleyball programs. In addition, he assisted with the men’s and women’s basketball and soccer programs.

From 2005 to 2006, he served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Chicago Bulls of the NBA. 

In 2006, Duba completed his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Additionally, he holds certifications from the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and USAW as a Certified Club Coach.

A native of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Duba is a graduate of Bradford High School.

Jimmy resides in Charlotte, and enjoys training and competing as a competitive weightlifter.
