CHARLOTTE, N.C. - With the forecast looking bleak for
Tuesday, a decision was made Monday night to reschedule the Charlotte versus
Wofford women's tennis match, which was slated for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the
Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
Weather continues to disrupt the normal schedule for the 49ers in the early
portion of the spring dual campaign. The Niners and Terriers currently are
working on finding a mutual date to reschedule the contest.
Meanwhile, Charlotte has announced an April 11 date for its recent postponement
of a contest against Furman, which was slated for this past Saturday. The 49ers
and Paladins will meet at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex starting at 2:30
p.m.
The Niners have been able to play six times this spring, raising their overall
dual record to 6-2 including a pair last fall.
Charlotte will attempt to return to the courts at 2:30 p.m. Thursday by
welcoming Elon to town as part of a current homestand.
