The Charlotte 49ers men’s tennis team plays Conference USA foe UAB at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex, Sunday, February 9 at 11 am.

“We’re looking forward to our match with UAB on Sunday,” Charlotte coach Billy Boykin said. “They have a great tennis program and are always competitive nationally. This will be our first Conference USA match of the season.”

This season, Forrest Edwards leads the team in singles and doubles victories with 14 singles wins and six doubles victories with partner Jack Williams. Alex Calott and Jordi Massalle Ferrer have each won 10 singles matches. Calott has also teamed with Carl Solik for five doubles wins. Williams and Francis Pare have each tallied six singles victories. Kamil Khalil, who missed the fall tournament season, enters the UAB match after a victory against Gardner-Webb last Wednesday.
