The Charlotte 49ers men's tennis team (8-5), who
have five of the last six games, play Texas-Pan American at the Halton-Wagner
Tennis Complex, Thursday, March 14 at 2:30 pm.
"We're looking forward to some match play tomorrow,"
Charlotte coach Billy Boykin said. "I've known Coach Goode for a long time and
he is an excellent coach/player. I know his guys will be ready to play it
should be a good one.
Jordi Massalle Ferrer, who has won eight straight
matches, leads the 49ers with 20 singles wins. Jack Williams has 15 singles
win. Alex Calott and Paul Cisti, who has won six straight matches, each have 14
singles wins.
Kamil Khalil and Krzysztof Kwasniewicz, who have won
five straight matches, have combined for a team-leading nine doubles wins.
Massalle Ferrer and Williams have posted a 7-0 doubles record this season. The
doubles team of Calott and Cisti have combined for seven doubles wins.
