49ers Conclude Play At Charleston Challenge

Charleston, SC- The Charlotte 49ers men's tennis team concluded play in the Charleston Challenge at the College of Charleston Tennis Center. The 49ers have concluded their fall tournament schedule and the 49ers will not return to action until 2013 when they start playing dual matches.

In Flight One singles, Charlotte's Jordi Massalle Ferrer defeated College of Charleston's Brice Allanic, 6-2, 6-1, on Sunday.

In Flight Two singles, Charlotte's Jack Williams lost to College of Charleston's Crescente Lesser, 6-4, 6-1.

In Flight Three singles, Charlotte's Forrest Edwards defeated College of Charleston's Sebastian Lopez in three hard fought sets, 6-2, 3-6, 14-12.

In Flight Four singles, Charlotte's Paul Cisti lost to College of Charleston's Alon Faiman, 6-3, 6-2.

In Flight Five singles, Charlotte's Alex Calott defeated College of Charleston's Zack Lewis, 6-3, 6-2.

In Flight Six singles, Charlotte's Krysztof Kwasniewicz lost to College of Charleston's Charlie Ghriskey, 6-1, 6-0.

In Flight Seven singles, Charlotte's Nate Shanok lost to College of Charleston's Matt Daly, 6-4, 6-4.

In Flight One doubles, Charlottes Ferrer and Williams defeated College of Charleston's Allanic and Lopez, 8-6.

In Flight Two doubles, Charlotte's Cisti and Kwasniewicz lost to College of Charleston's Faiman and Ghriskey, 8-5.

In Flight Three doubles, Charlotte's Edwards and Calott defeated College of Charleston's Record and Lewis, 8-4.

In Flight Four doubles, Charlotte's Kamil Khalil and Weber lost to College of Charleston's Daly and Kenny, 8-4.
