2014: Played in 18 matches and 43 sets for the Niners with 53 kills, 15 digs and nine blocks ... her biggest block of the year came in Charlotte's 3-2 road win at UTEP to keep the Conference USA tournament hopes alive ... teamed up with Marshae Bradbury to spark the Niners major comeback from a 9-4 deficit in the fifth set to a 15-12 victory avoiding elimination from tournament contention ... recorded a season-high 11 kills in back-to-back matches against ETSU and Sacramento State on 8/30 ... the junior would hit a career-high .471 with her 11 kills in the 3-1 win over ETSU. 

2013: Played in 27 of the teams 29 matches, appearing in 87 season sets ... set career highs with 173 kills (fourth-best on team) and 71 digs to go with 33 blocks (fifth-most at Charlotte) ... set new career-high with 16 kills in four-set win over UNC Asheville on 9/7 ... also had three solo blocks in that match ... had career-high seven digs twice, against UNCA and at FIU on 9/27 ... posted 10+ kills four times (team was 1-3 in those matches) and led or tied for the team lead in kills in three of those matches ... Dean's List (fall).

2012: Set season-highs with five kills and two blocks in a road match at Fordham on 9/28 ... recorded five kills in two more matches, at home to Dayton on 11/2 and Xavier on 11/4 ... finished with five kills and one error on 12 attempts in Xavier match for .333 attack percentage ... made five starts ... played in 17 of team’s 26 matches.

Prep: A member of the Mount Si Wildcats, which finished sixth in the state of Washington each of the last three seasons after league titles in all three seasons ... the team put together 19-win seasons in 2009 and 2010 before a 23-7 season last fall ... she was the King-co MVP and earned the State All-Tournament Team ... played her club ball with the Kent Juniors Volleyball Club.

Personal: Parents are Renee and Thomas McDonald ... Renee played soccer and Thomas played basketball, both at Seattle University ... has three siblings, Thomas Jr., Fran and Alice... currently stands as the player farthest from home within the United States on a current roster ...
