Radford is led by Becky Mantel (.311) who is the only Highlander batting over .300. However, most of Radford’s starters have recorded at least 25 hits. As a team, Radford is batting .263 and will have to face Charlotte pitchers Katie Watkins (9-13) and Chelsea Lisikatos (6-8). Watkins has held her opponents to a .275 batting average and leads the team in strikeouts (114).
Leading the Highlanders in the circle is ace Rachel Walters with a 12-7 record. Walters has a 3.07 earned run average (ERA) in 114.0 innings pitched. Jackie Jenkins (3-16) has appeared in 24 games and tallied 30 strikeouts.
