Still named to A-10 Academic All-Conference team

Charlotte, N.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference team was announced on Thursday, with this year’s team highlighted by returning Academic All-Conference honoree, Coye Still of Charlotte.

The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league’s Sports Information Directors.

Still, a junior from Harrisburg, N.C., is a history major with a 4.00 cumulative grade point average. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Still’s performance for the Charlotte track and field program this season has been remarkable as well.

Still earned first-team All-Conference honors at the Atlantic 10 Championship after winning the long jump (24’02.5). His long jump mark ranks fifth on the Charlotte all-time list. He led the league in the long jump after his performance at the A-10 Championships and was ranked fourth in the conference in the high jump (6' 6.75)

On Thursday, Still qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Championship in the long jump where he is 40th in the region.
