Under the terms of the 10-year agreement, IMG College will manage and market all rights associated with Charlotte 49ers Athletics advertising and sponsorship inventory including radio advertising, official athletic website, venue signage, public address announcements, video boards, game programs, event promotions, and hospitality at athletic events.
WZGV ESPN 730 in Charlotte holds the rights to Charlotte 49ers radio broadcasts through the 2012-13 and 2013-14 athletic seasons, which includes the Charlotte's next two basketball seasons and the 49ers inaugural 2013 football season.

The Charlotte 49ers relationship continues the expansion of IMG's groundbreaking national collegiate marketing platform. IMG College now represents the media and sponsorship rights for more than 90 universities nationwide.

The new IMG partnership will begin with the 2012-13 school year. IMG is currently identifying a dedicated Charlotte team to be based on campus.

About the Charlotte 49ers Athletics
The Charlotte 49ers athletics teams compete on the NCAA Division I level and are members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The department supports 16 sports teams, including baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, golf, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, and volleyball. In the fall of 2013, the 49ers will host the inaugural season of the football team, along with making a move to join Conference USA in all sports.
