Due to rains in Myrtle Beach last night and the forecast for bad weather on Tuesday, Charlotte baseball’s road game at Coastal Carolina has been rained out, with no make-up date available.

The 49ers will host Butler this weekend for an Atlantic 10 Conference series between two teams in a tie for third in the league.

Friday’s game starts at 6 p.m., with a Saturday 2 p.m. start. The 49ers will celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the first team to make the NCAA Regionals in a pregame ceremony honoring members of the 1993 squad.

Saturday will also be Bark in the Park day. Fans wishing to bring their dog to the stadium must pre-register online.

Sunday, Charlotte will retire the jersey of former All-American and current assistant coach Bo Robinson in pregame ceremonies ahead of the 1 p.m. series finale.
